About Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC)
The Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) was founded on 13th April, 2003 by the then President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Olusegun Obasanjo as a Financial Crime Security Agency.
Primary Duties of the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC)

Approved Requirements for EFCC Recruitment 2025/2026
- Nationality: Interested fellows must be a Nigerian citizen by birth possessing a valid means of identification such and Driver’s license, National Identity Number (NIN) and Voter’s Card
- Academic Qualification: Interested fellows must have O’level like WAEC, NECO, or GCE, Scoring at least five (5) credits in English Languages and Mathematics. Candidates must also be a graduate such as B.Sc., M.Sc., HND and or OND.
- Age: Interested fellows must be above the age 18 years but not above 30 years old
- Birth Certificate: Interested fellows must have a legit birth certificate
- Certificate of Origin: Interested fellows must have a legit certificate of Origin to prove their Local Government Area
- Medical Report: Interested fellows must be medically stable as people with disabilities will be disqualified
- Organizational Skills: Interested fellows must have good communicate with others
